About The Jigsaw Tree. 2014-04-06T17:29:12+00:00

About: The Jigsaw Tree is an online community and resource for everyone involved with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC’s). Our aim is to provide a space for people to discuss issues and support each other whilst promoting awareness, acceptance, inclusion and understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions both in the U.K. and internationally.

Here’s a link to our first blog, explaining how we came into being.

The Jigsaw Tree is a Community Group based in East Leeds, supporting families of children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (both pre- & post diagnosis). We offer  support & friendship, advice & strategies, as well as helping our parents to complete DLA/PIP forms or advise on the EHCP process. We hold monthly daytime parent/carer support group meetings at Garforth Library (come along and say ‘Hi’, everyone is friendly!) and evening support sessions at Megaplay Leeds soft play area, as well as organising school holiday events for all our families and learning forums for the parents/carers. We can offer autism awareness training for local business’s too.

Our resources section has a wealth of information, videos, books and links to other organisations.

If you have a resource that you would like to share, please use the “contact us” form to submit it.
